No wonder...

Tonight, Shelby got herself completely dressed for bedtime (including her pull-up!) (yes she's still in pull-ups at night...) and then brushed her own teeth and washed her hands and she was just so proud.
...Now 45 minutes later she's still awake...coming up with excuses. She asked for Mary to be in her bed, so Jeff was off taking Mary to potty.
Shelby wanders into my room...
S: No wonder Daddy's taking so long to get Mary in my bed!
M: What do you mean no wonder?
S: Like, Daddy's not getting her in my bed.
M: Well why no wonder?
S: Well, I don't know why!

It's still so fascinating to me how she's figuring out how to use (and how NOT to use) these grown-up phrases!!! :)
