Pictures!!

Sunday a week ago, we actually got out the camera that’s been packed away hiding for months.  And we took some fun pictures.

Right now this is Molly’s fav toy.  She always crawls right to it, pulls up, and then (someone helps her on it) rides it by herself, always grinning and squealing.  She holds one hand up and looks like she’s riding a bull.

Sissy is very good at playing with and watching over baby sis.

She also squeals with joy when she sees Mary within reach.  And crawls straight toward her.

Mary is kind of tolerant but usually moves away and attempts to get someone besides Molly to pet her.  (Brat dog.)

I attempted some pictures of all 3.  This was Shelby’s pose.

Shelby begged and begged to get bangs cut before school started until I finally gave in.  They are SO cute but she already hates them.  Just like I warned her she would.  But it’s a mistake we all have to make at one point, right?  Last night I was attempting to explain to her why we can’t just “cut them off.”  LOL.

Brother literally SMOTHERS her in kisses every day.  For a while I couldn’t figure out why she always has dirty sticky matted down hair on her head.  Then I realized.  Coleman.  Syrup or honey or chocolate milk.  Kisses.  EVERY DAY!

Squeal!!

Silly girl still won’t leave my glasses alone.  It’s the only reason she ever hears the word “No no” (So far!!)

She is up on everything.  In this picture she looks blonde!

Shelby’s Baptism

Our sweet girl Shelby chose to follow Christ and prayed to ask Jesus to come into her heart and be the Lord of her life at Vacation Bible school on June 23, 2013.  Sunday August 25, 2013 at church she displayed that profession of faith by following the Lord in Baptism.

I was so happy to see her on the video our church posted last night:

Shelby was very blessed to have many people who love her come to support her on Sunday.  We want to thank everyone who spent their Sunday morning and Sunday lunch with us!  (Nonnie, Popppy, Gram, Grandpa, Anna, Zach, Tyler, Sarah, Randy, Kay, Chris, Kelly, Reagan, Rylee, and of course Mill & Luke in spirit!)

Daddy helped Mrs. Kriss, the Children’s minister, baptize her.

After church we headed to Dickie’s for some yummy bbq.

 

We are just so blessed to be surrounded by family and love.

We all went home for a Sunday of getting ready for the first day of school the next day!

Summer and New House and Firsts

What a great summer we have had!  I have rarely stopped to get out the “big camera” but use my phone all the time to capture our everyday moments.  Wanted to share some here from the past couple of months.

Molly loves her playroom.  This room is “Hers,” and all things in it should be appropriate for her if we were to leave her in there.  Which means no big kid games or small pieces.  But they do have the tv mounted on the wall with the Wii.
