Our sweet girl Shelby chose to follow Christ and prayed to ask Jesus to come into her heart and be the Lord of her life at Vacation Bible school on June 23, 2013. Sunday August 25, 2013 at church she displayed that profession of faith by following the Lord in Baptism.

Shelby was very blessed to have many people who love her come to support her on Sunday. We want to thank everyone who spent their Sunday morning and Sunday lunch with us! (Nonnie, Popppy, Gram, Grandpa, Anna, Zach, Tyler, Sarah, Randy, Kay, Chris, Kelly, Reagan, Rylee, and of course Mill & Luke in spirit!)
Here’s the girl all dressed up. This was right before she changed into her baptism clothes.
With Mama and Daddy: (She has decided to call me Mama now instead of just Mom. Sounds good to me!!)
Daddy helped Mrs. Kriss, the Children’s minister, baptize her.
As Pastor Greene said after every baptism at BBC growing up, “Raised to walk in a new life!!”
After church we headed to Dickie’s for some yummy bbq.
We are just so blessed to be surrounded by family and love.
We all went home for a Sunday of getting ready for the first day of school the next day!
