In the car yesterday, Shelby and I were talking about how to say some things in Spanish. A minute later...
Shelby holds her hand up like an L.
S: "Mommy, what does this mean in hand spanish?"
Me: "Hand Spanish?"
S: (large sigh) "Mommy, you know, like, how people can say words with their hands!!"
Me: "Oh, sign language! And that's an L."
