Coleman's Medieval Day

Coleman’s class has been studying medieval times.  Princesses, knights, dragons, etc.
On Friday they went to school in costume and went on a long campus walk when the got to school that morning.  I was able to take the day off to attend Cole’s festivities and then Shelby’s field day.
Coleman is a little character and really gets into it when he’s wearing a costume!

The class has a bathroom-time ritual where they all sit around the carpet in their spots, and since “the line” moves slowly, the children are called up one at a time to dance in the middle (all alone) until there is a vacant potty.  It cracks me up.  Coleman was very serious with his dancing, and I would love to know where he learned some of his break-dancing moves!

We left for the walk.  Coleman was the door-holder for the day, but his buddy Jackson helped him with every single door.  (And there were lots of them!)

Notice the little shy-looking girl next to Coleman.  That’s who Coleman says he’s going to marry.  All the kids talk about it.  Some of them are paired off.  Coleman declares often that he’s going to marry Audrey.  So, one of the times on Friday I said, “Well Coleman, what does Audrey think of that?  Is that ok with her?” and she shyly looked at me, smiled and nodded over and over with a little grin.  Too funny!
