Customer Service CHAT!!!

I have been using this feature lately with any place that offers it and it's AWESOME. So far I've had NO wait to connect with a representative, and they have solved my issue in less time that it would have taken me to go through the million phone prompts even before being thrown into a queue to wait to talk to someone. I have used it for my insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield), Dish Network, and Sprint PCS this week and they all get A++++++ from me. And also my coworkers don't hear me talking about my business at work since I just have to type it.

If you see it available for something you need customer service on, TRY IT!

Jeff's cast

The cast is totally waterproof so he can shower in it and everything (Praise the Lord!!) haha

He has my heart in the palm of his hand.

Cole = boy

Last weekend we taught Cole to "pound it." You know, where you knock your fist with someone. Well he is a pounding fool these days. You just hold out your fist and he is there, fist on fist, ON IT. Then he immediately has to pound everyone else in a 2 room vicinity. Tonight he even walked over and pounded his ride-on zebra in the living room (which we really did LOL at) after he had pounded Mommy, Daddy, and Sissy. He says "POUND" in his gruff little boy voice. It is TOOO too cute.

In the mornings he wakes up crying "nana" (banana) or "bar" (Breakfast bar)...this kid is very food / hunger driven. He's almost stopped asking for juice! Praise the lawd! He cries "cackee" for cracker, "beeps" for grapes and "bapple" for apple. Funny how most of his most used words are foods. I promise you, he gets this from his daddy. Mommy only eats when I have to just enough to stay alive.
He loves watching "Boo Koos" in the morning (can anyone guess what that is?) and says "Diego" better than Shelby says it even now (she still says "badego" and he says diego perfectly)

He is 29 pounds and 35 inches. I'm not sure but I think this is on the big end of "average" for 21 months. Which he is TODAY!!!
One thing that is crazy to us is that Cole is now the age that Shelby was when he was born yet OH SO different. He's still our BABY and she seemed so much more grown up than how we see Cole now. But maybe that's because he'll ALWAYS be my baby (yeah, no more in the plans, don't ask me again.) (ps.. and don't quote me on that.)

He can now repeat anything we say, which is great since we stopped using any words not appropriate for a child the day Shelby was born. And also since you believe that I'd also like you to note that I have made all our own baby food, we eat only organically farm grown vegetables (no meats), we sleep in a family bed and I'm still breastfeeding both of them. Well, we do what we can!!!

But when it comes down to it, if I only had one word to describe this son of mine, it would have to be BOY. All the way. I wouldn't have ever understood that until I actually HAD a son maybe, but that really just sums it up. They are this way from the beginning: Simple creatures. Food. Fun. Sleep. Repeat. Just like daddy!

Goodnight!!!

Bathtime Shelbyism

Shelby likes to play in the tub until she's all pruned up good.

Daddy, checking on her to see if she's ready to get out: "You still doin OK?"
Shelby: "UMhuh"
Daddy: "You ready to get out?"
Shelby: "No."
Daddy: "You still need some time?"
Shelby: "I just need a hundred minutes, and after a hundred minutes the sun will come out."
Daddy: "OK."
