Coleman’s sixth birthday party was at the bowling alley. We started out with some mustaches.
I was trying to look like Poppy. How did I do?
Bowling was the PERFECT thing to do with this age of boys! They were completely engaged in the games the whole time.
but they still had some room to dance and be silly with best buddies!
Most importantly since we had a one-month old, I didn’t have to do anything but book it! Nonnie took care of baby sis for me during most of the party.
It was a GREAT time and I hope we will use Brunswick Zone again for a party- one of the easiest parties we’ve ever had.
I will leave the rest up to the pictures.
This is the one picture we got of “Blowing out the candles”
The fam:
Happy Birthday to our BUDDY!
We woke up to a couple of treats from the Easter bunny
Shelby was very excited about her new brush
Coleman was a little bit excited about his new boxer briefs.
And Molly was pretty underwhelmed about her treats
We had wanted to go each breakfast/brunch somewhere before the 12:3o church service, but we couldn’t really find a place that was open, so Nonnie, Poppy, Anna, Zach, and Tyler came over to our house. I threw together a last-minute breakfast casserole, Nonnie cooked egg mcmuffins, and we grubbed a great little breakfast at home instead!
We snapped a few family pictures after church.
Going to 12:30 church means it’s already after 2:00 when you get home. I did NOT like that! We had about an hour and a half at home before we headed back out to surprise Mimi for her 80th birthday! We went to Nick & Karen’s house in Dallas and pulled off a great surprise (I was a little worried we were going to give her a heart attack- and no one even got it on camera!)
It was a wonderful night full of family. Today is Monday and we are all feeling the effects of the busy, not-enough-sleep weekend. ((Yawn.))
Have a great week!
