This face...

...is the face of a baby who slept for 10 hours straight last night!!!!
As Shelby would say..."What Whaaaat!!"

Stupid's

Shelby and Coleman were fighting about who had more in their cup.  I came in afterward to find this left in the kitchen.  (Shelby labeled his.)  Obviously these poor deprived children never get any sugary sodas so they have to fight over the free sample I got at the store! :)

At least she used the apostrophe correctly.

Daddy's magic touch

I swear she falls asleep while he's holding her half the time. This time she found her sweet wittle thumb!

What we do in the morning before school

Play, of course. Sometimes we play with our baby sister.  And sometimes we play with our doggy.

Sweet Russell (The Love Muscle)

Our little Rusty boy went to doggy heaven on Friday.

We (Jeff) got Rusty in 2002 after we moved down to the Tarrant County, after I graduated college but before we were engaged.  I found him one day on the internet at a Fort Worth dog shelter.  They had him in a very girly little sweater (he’s always loved his sweaters!) with a furry collar and we couldn’t resist the minpin cuteness.  He was about 3 or 4 when we got him, making him about 14 or 15 now.  He had a wonderful long doggy life and was Jeffie’s little companion for many years.

In the end, Rusty had lost his vision, his hearing, and mostly likely his sense of smell.  His mouth and teeth were hurting him and he was pretty confused and lost around the house.  We know that now he is laying in a sunny spot in heaven, and can see, smell, taste, and hear it all, like a doggy should!  Rusty, Rusty Wallace….you were a good little pound puppy and we loved you very much!

Molly Rose’s Baby Dedication

Today we dedicated Molly Rose and made the promise to teach her about Jesus and His love for her, and to raise her as His child and according to His word. The verse they read for her is, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21

Nonnie and Poppy stood with us … of course they are our biggest source of encouragement, support, and strength, and an amazing example of dedicated and loving Christian parents.  Thank you Nonnie and Poppy!

and also thank you to our other family who were there, Aunt Millie, Aunt Anna and (soon-to-be) Uncle Zach, and Uncle TyTy.

She is our third little blessing from above!
