You can see our little Captain America on the back row. Coleman’s best buddy in class is in the Texas A&M football uniform. We love his teacher too!!!

Birthdays and Pumpkins at the new W Casa
Last Friday night we got to celebrate 2 of our boys’ birthdays at A&Z’s new house!
I have not been great at busting out the camera lately, but as I promised Millie, we made sure to take some pictures! (Shelby took a lot of them)
Poppy helped in the kitchen:
Anna working away in her new kitchen:
I watched :)
The kids had their own table in the (still empty) dining room:
Finally we chowed down on some YUMMY beef stew and jalepeno corn bread. Anna did the stew all by herself, with only ONE MILLION calls to Mom that day. :) JK Anna, we’ve all been there, done that!!
Finally it was time for PUNKIN CARVING!
This was a learning experience for some. Apparently, Uncle Tyty had no idea that the inside of pumpkins were hollow. :) I think Anna also said she had never carved a pumpkin before. The kids worked hard to remove the guts but by the end of the night you can see who was left working:
This was Coleman/Daddy’s pumpkin:
Anna did not have a candle so we took a picture with Tyler’s cell phone “flashlight” inside it.
And Shelby did some of her cutting but Uncle Zach helped her finish it off:
It was a fun night!
Kindergator Storybook Parade 2012
Coleman got to wear his Halloween costume to school. It’s a “storybook parade” where every child dresses up as their favorite book character, and they have to bring the book with them to school for the parade through the halls. So what do all of us moms do? We go buy a book that is about the Halloween costume that our child already picked out!!
Captain America book was easy to find…thank you Amazon!
Then the halls fill up at 8:30 to watch our child walk in a line so we can grab a cute picture or two…
And really, he is the cutest boy there is, so it’s worth it!
I’ll do a full Halloween post later after tonight’s trick-or-treating! Until then…

P3 Pregnancy: 30 Weeks!
Picture at 28.5 weeks. This picture was shocking to me in two ways.
1: I’m already 28.5 weeks?
and
2: I’m ONLY 28.5 weeks??! How are 11 more weeks going to fit in here??

It seems like yesterday that I took the above picture. So much that it stressed me out lying in bed, not being able to figure out how many weeks I was 2 nights ago. Had I really taken that picture almost 2 weeks ago? Impossible. But I knew I had a dr. appt so I must be 30 weeks. There must be a mistake. I even had to get up in the middle of the night to check. Yes, we are at 30 weeks! Needless to say, it is starting to fly by!
So yesterday before my appointment, I snapped this one:

We are in the midst of checking off lists (and adding to them) and getting things ready for baby sister’s arrival. Of course her room is pretty ready (although very FULL and needs organized and clothes washed etc) Any Nonnies or Grams want to come over and help me with that?? :) This week we sold our beloved pop-up camper, traded in Daddy’s truck last week, and next up is installing a gate opener so Mommy can park in the garage after 6 years of living here! Our garage is in the back of the house and we have never gotten around to having an automatic gate opener installed and having a priority of clean back driveway and garage to navigate a car through. Another bonus to this is Daddy and Coleman are excited to keep the back drive cleared as it is also the basketball court!
weight gained so far?: 27 lbs in 30 weeks. Doctor says this is good. I wish it were less. I am still hungry a lot, especially when it’s time to lay down and go to bed. Worst time to eat! I better keep it under 40 lbs (1 lb a week from here on out!) or I will FREAK THE FREAK OUT.
sleep?: I am sleeping well. Not even waking up to use the restroom more than once. I started seeing a chiropractor at the suggestion of my OB last week. I think they have done amazing things! My lower back was killing me. Now I am almost pain-free in my back. I’m not even having to wear the support belt much at all anymore. I am still feeling tons of low pressure “down there” but that’s normal for 2nd/3rd/etc pregnancies and not gonna change til we get this baby out. I am going 3 x a week for 3 weeks and I’m gonna miss it when I’m down to once a week, and then when I have to stop going after the baby comes, I think!
best moment of the week?: Baby-wise, just feeling her moving all over the place. While feeling around my belly yesterday, the doctor commented that she sure is sprawled out all over the place. She could feel her spread out from right to left across the whole big belly, and of course I can feel her from way down low to up in my ribs. (She moved into my ribs a few days ago.) She is enjoying her “me” space until she gets out in this world and joins her family of five, I think. :) Her heartbeat was 145 and she kicked the doppler straight on while the doctor was listening.
Miss Anything? My stamina. When I have to be on my feet for several hours in the day, I really start feeling it. My feet and legs start to swell, etc. Anna has bridal pictures in a few weeks and I REALLY want to go. I’m just worried about how long I will last standing and walking around all day!
Movement: This baby moves a LOT. We’re starting to get that alien-like belly where the entire thing rumbles and shifts as she’s moving around. I think she is maybe a little big for her age. The doctor always measures the length of the belly/uterus, and it is always dead on, but yesterday it was 1 cm (aka 1 week) big. Molly wants to have her first Christmas at home in 2012!! (I hope!)
food cravings?: CFA Chicken Biscuits.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Both. I haven’t been mad or annoyed moody, but more sad/emotional moody a few times this week.
looking forward to?: Holding her! Duh. Maternity/family pictures in a couple of weeks. I started having Braxton Hicks contractions last Sunday. I have had some every day since. It’s a little uncomfortable but I like it- I think it means my body is preparing, and will be ready to push this baby out in 2 months. (I did not ever have any consistent BH contractions with the other 2 pregnancies)

Bye Bye Tacoma!
We had to take one last picture with Daddy’s ol’ faithful Tacoma truck on the day we traded it in. Jeff has a picture like this from 2005 when we bought it, with me standing by it with baby Shelby in my belly (and no kids in the truck bed!) Now with the third on the way, we had to get a bigger truck to fit THREE babies in the back!
and hello Tundra!
Weekend on the Lake in Granbury
We rented a little (and I do mean little!) cabin on the lake in Granbury this past weekend. It was our little family “Babymoon”…the last trip away before baby sister arrives.
The weather was great so there was lots of outdoor play. There was even a canoe, and yes, the kids swam in the lake in mid-October!
Pictures tell the story:
Very first canoe ride for Daddy and kids:
a nice outdoor shower :)
Little budding photographer crouching in the bushes:
Coleman’s big bass catch.
They caught a ton (20+) of these little perch.
Shelby does all the parts of fishing: baits the hook, takes the fish off, all of it. I, on the other hand, have never baited a hook, touched a worm, OR a fish.
