I love the look of these cheeks after my baby girl eats!
I kiss them ALL DAY LONG!
She loves to watch her mobile these days.

Our sweet oldest girl turned 8 this month.
Here was her last picture as a 7 year old:
On her birthday morning, she got to open a few presents….clothes! My girl LOVES “fashion” these days. I bought her 3 outfits and the amazing part is that she loves and actually wears all of them!
Her daddy made her a birthday card. “OMG You’re 8!”
Wearing one later that week:
After school, we met up with Nonnie and went for Ice Cream at Braum’s. Coleman had a game that night and Shelby wanted pizza, so we all headed to Niki’s restaurant after the game for some pizza/Italian food. Shelby likes going there because the family of a boy in her grade owns it. A boy! Heehee! Giggle giggle!
On Sunday, we headed to the park for a little family birthday time.
Uncle TyTy, Uncle Zach & Aunt Anna, Nonnie, Poppy, Gram and Matthew all joined us.
Oh and Layla and Iris, our dog-cousins!
Shelby was showered with gifts
And while the kids and boys played, we did some relaxin’ and napping:
We’re all kind of obsessed with baby sister, too:
Now tonight, we will head out after school to Great Wolf Lodge with Shelby and 3 of her friends for a night to remember. This is her birthday thing instead of having a party. (And probably the only time we’ll do this! We could have had THREE parties for this price!)
We love this daughter of ours more than we could ever describe. She is becoming a wonderful and beautiful person inside and out, as she approaches this pre-teen world of growing up, making mistakes, being responsible, and learning so much about the world around us. She has a sweet tender heart that will always shine through, and as her mom, I commit to pray for her every day. I pray that she will know how loved she is, know that she is completely perfectly and wonderfully made, and that she will look in the right places for answers in this life. She makes us so proud to be her “Mom” and “Dad”.
Here we are at FOUR months old!
Molly saw her doctor today and she is doing great. No concerns at all (though the doctor said she could use some hair!!) I might have to nickname her baldy.
Weight: 15 lb 2 oz (62%)
Height: 26 inches (96% Wow!)
Molly is still a super happy baby. EASY to get smiles all day long. She wakes up happy. Just recently (like the past 2 days) she’s been getting fussy at times when we don’t really know what is wrong, and have a hard time calming her. This is the first time since she was born though, and it’s definitely not bad or a problem (yet!) I think it’s mainly that she’s tired and we’ve stopped swaddling her, which is what she’s used to to fall asleep. Lots of changes ahead, Miss Molly! You gotta roll with them! :)
We won’t be starting any foods for another 2 months. Molly has been rolling from front to back pretty regularly this week. She loves to watch big bro and big sis talk to her. She likes to hear her own voice. She still loves baths but doesn’t love the shower with me. She has still only ever had breast milk. She goes to Miss Katelyn 2-3 days a week and takes breast milk in bottles when she’s there. Katelyn hasn’t had trouble getting her to take bottles, and she naps great over there. At home, giving her the rare bottle is a challenge, and her naps are short and unpredictable. She’s starting to sit in her exersaucer and johnny jumper for little periods of time. Hands are always in mouth, and she’s starting to grab for things (which always go straight into mouth.) She loves to sit in her chair on our bed and watch “her show” – baby Einstein dvd, which we do once a day (most days.) Sometimes I can’t get her to stop crying but if I put her in her seat and turn on her show, she stops, stares, and watches the whole 23 minute show. Sometimes a girl just needs a break, I guess!
Things in the Peck household are still completely out of whack. What everyone says is true- the 3rd baby IS easy. But it’s not the whole truth. The 3rd baby is an easy baby…but the addition is NOT easy, at least not for us! We are overwhelmed with work, duties at home, and just literally not enough time in the day. We’re still waiting for that normalcy and routine to set in. It seems like it did earlier with the other 2 kids. However crazy our life feels right now, our Monkey girl has made our family complete and we already cannot imagine life without her…there’s no doubt about that!
She loves sitting in our backyard baby swing and watching big bro and sis play outside (and Daddy pick up poop!) But this was her first swing at a park!
3 months 3 weeks old!
Paying attention in the outfield!
Pretty sure we have the best coaches in the league!
This is my honey.
Waaaaay too cool
Serious On the mound
Makin a play at home!
Coleman’s sixth birthday party was at the bowling alley. We started out with some mustaches.
I was trying to look like Poppy. How did I do?
Bowling was the PERFECT thing to do with this age of boys! They were completely engaged in the games the whole time.
but they still had some room to dance and be silly with best buddies!
Most importantly since we had a one-month old, I didn’t have to do anything but book it! Nonnie took care of baby sis for me during most of the party.
It was a GREAT time and I hope we will use Brunswick Zone again for a party- one of the easiest parties we’ve ever had.
I will leave the rest up to the pictures.
This is the one picture we got of “Blowing out the candles”

Happy Birthday to our BUDDY!
