As the room parent, I knew I would be busy during Shelby’s party, so her sweet Nonnie took off work to come to her Christmas party and “hang out” and enjoy it with her. It turns out that Nonnie had to do some helping/volunteering as well, but Shelby was so excited to have her there.
Once again, the kids rotated classrooms so instead of enjoying the party in my daughter’s classroom with her, I worked in my daughter’s classroom with about 90 different students while Shelby went into other classrooms. Just doesn’t really make sense to me, but oh well.
